Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Baosound Lab collects when it runs baosound.com and the Fivechecks domain tool, how that information is used, who it is shared with, and the choices you have. If anything is unclear, please contact us.
The short version
- We only collect what we need to run checks, track credits, take payments and stop abuse.
- Every domain you check gets a public report page at
baosound.com/<domain>that anyone with the link can open. Don't check a domain here if you need to keep it private. - We don't sell your personal information, show ads, or use third-party analytics or ad trackers.
- Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
What we collect
1. Domains you check
The domains you enter and their results (registration status, prices, history, safety, backlinks) are saved and published as public report pages so they can be viewed again later. Some report pages may appear in search engines. A report page only contains public facts about the domain. It never shows who checked it.
2. Account information
When you sign up or sign in, we store your email address and your password in an irreversibly encrypted form (we can't see the password itself), plus your credit balance, sign-up time and last sign-in time.
3. Payment information
You pay on Stripe's checkout page. From Stripe we receive and keep the checkout session ID, email, amount, currency and number of credits bought, so we can add credits to your account and issue a receipt. Your card details go directly to Stripe and never pass through our servers.
4. Usage and abuse prevention
To give out free checks fairly and stop abuse, we record your IP address, a randomly generated device ID stored in a cookie, and how many checks were used and when.
5. Share for a free check
If you use "share once, check again", we keep the post URL you submit, whether it was verified, and the account, IP address and device ID it came from, so the reward can't be claimed twice.
6. Contact form
When you write to us through the contact page, we keep your email, name (optional), topic and message, plus the IP address it was sent from (to block spam).
7. Server logs
Like most websites, we and the providers that run our network services automatically log requests, including IP address, browser type, page and time. We use these logs for security and troubleshooting.
Cookies
We only use cookies the site needs to work. We don't use advertising or third-party analytics cookies.

We don't send marketing email.
Who we share it with
We don't sell or rent your personal information. These kinds of service providers process the data they need to deliver the service:

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or if it's necessary to protect the safety of us, our users or the public.
Storage and retention
- We and the providers above may store and process data outside your country or region.
- Account information is kept while your account exists. You can ask us to delete it at any time.
- Payment records are kept as long as accounting and tax rules require (usually 7 years), even after an account is deleted.
- IP and device usage records are kept only as long as needed for free checks and abuse prevention. Inactive records with no balance are cleared regularly.
- Domain report pages are kept long term. If a report page affects your rights, contact us and we'll look at it.
Security
The whole site uses encrypted connections, passwords are irreversibly encrypted, and payment details are handled by our payment processor. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, delete or export the personal information we hold about you. We respect the rights that applicable data protection laws give you. Send a request through the contact form using the "Privacy request" topic and the email on your account, so we can confirm it's you.
Children
This service isn't meant for anyone under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes to this policy
When we update this policy, we change the "Last updated" date at the top. We'll point out significant changes on the site.
